Absolutely incredible dining experience! Every dish we tried was bursting with flavor and expertly prepared. The karaage was a standout — perfectly crispy on the outside, tender and juicy inside, and full of rich, savory flavor. The rainbow rolls were far from your average sushi rolls. These were exceptionally fresh and artfully crafted — a clear step above what you’d find in grocery stores or even many other Japanese restaurants. I was especially surprised by the seaweed rolls with egg. At first glance, they might not be the most photogenic dish, but wow — they were unbelievably delicious. A perfect example of “don’t judge a book by its cover.” We ended the meal with mochi for dessert, which had the perfect balance of chewiness and sweetness — a light and satisfying finish. Despite the place being crowded and busy, the servers were fairly attentive. They kindly opened our bottle of wine and offered a taste before pouring, which was a nice touch and showed great hospitality. The atmosphere was lively and had a good vibe overall, though it did get quite loud due to the number of people — something to keep in mind if you’re looking for a quiet dinner. Highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for creative, high-quality Japanese cuisine. Reservation is a must.

Absolutely amazing place to go eat delicious food all in all a great experience prices fairly we were 8ofnus and order a lot of pretty much tried everything on the menu rolls sushi oysters veggies all of the dishes were served fresh some things too a long time to prep but it was worth every minute and sec food was absolutely delicious fresh tasty very good quality .

We had an amazing time at this Japanese sushi restaurant today! The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented — everything we tried was delicious. A special shoutout to our servers, Julia and LyKathy, who were incredibly kind, welcoming, and attentive. Their warm and friendly service really made the whole experience special. If you’re looking for great sushi and a cozy atmosphere, this place is definitely worth a visit!

Food and service were fine. The atmosphere is nice and it feels chic. The sushi was nothing extraordinary. And to be honest, I was expecting more. But the dessert? That one was incredible inside out. I would like to come back and try different sushi rolls or dishes.

I was really impressed by the interior design—elegant, thoughtful, and with great attention to detail, especially in how the tables were set. The presentation of the food was equally beautiful, showing real care and artistry. The staff were very professional, attentive, and made the experience feel special from start to finish. We ordered the Rainbow and California rolls. My partner absolutely loved the Rainbow rolls, though I’ve had better California rolls elsewhere. The standout for me was the karaage chicken—it was truly mind-blowing, crispy on the outside and juicy inside, full of flavor. We ended the meal with the lemon mochi, and it was a perfect finish—a unique and memorable taste I’ll definitely come back for. Overall, a lovely dining experience with strong visuals, great service, and a few truly exceptional dishes.

Wow!!! The food is incredible. We had chicken wings, wagyu gyoza, edamame, shrimp tempura, buruzu sushi, yaki udon, yuzu donuts. Everything was so tasty and we loved the chicken wings so much we ordered another round. It was very hard to pick a favourite but if I have to pick, it was the yuzu donuts...bit size and the yuzu flavour worked great with the sweetness and heaviness of donuts, perfect balance! Oh, one more thing, the cocktails we ordered were also excellent...Korunbu and Yugarita...very easy to drink and not very sweet, perfectly balanced.

This Japanese restaurant is located near the Notre-Dame Basilica of Montreal, which is very convenient for travelers like me. I checked the Google rating before going in, but unfortunately, I was a little disappointed. I ordered the curry pork and yakiudon, but the taste didn’t quite meet my expectations. The tempura was very dry and didn’t look appealing at all. The server didn’t seem very attentive either, which affected the overall experience. Also, the washroom is located downstairs, which might not be convenient for everyone.
